Chris King is a self-taught artist, specializing in wildlife, land and seascape paintings. After a career spent working in the IT Industry Chris moved with his wife Sarah to the Cotswolds in 2009.
Following this move, Chris became a member of local artist Julia Christie’s Studio Artists Group with whom he exhibited a number of paintings at various exhibitions.
He also joined The Wildlife Art Society International (TWASI) where he continues to exhibit at their annual exhibitions held at Nature in Art near Gloucester. In October 2013, he linked up with four other local Cotswold artists to stage their highly successful “Wildscape, Manscape” exhibition at the Subscription Rooms in Stroud.
During 2014, in addition to exhibiting at TWASI Chris joined with three other artists to stage an exhibition at the Gardens Gallery in the Montpellier Gardens, Cheltenham.
2017 saw Chris and Sarah move to Watton-at-Stone near Hertford in order to be closer to other family members. Shortly after moving Chris became a member of the Hertford Art Society.
In addition to the previously mentioned exhibitions Chris has had works exhibited at the National Fine Arts and Antiques Fair at the NEC in Birmingham and the Edinburgh Art Fair. He also participated in the “Cream of the Cotswolds” Exhibition held at the Art World Gallery in Evesham.
